A DAY IN MY LIFE

Every day in my life begins with a simple routine, but each moment teaches me something new about myself. I usually wake up early in the morning when the sun starts to rise. Before anything else, I take a moment to breathe, stretch, and thank God for another day. This short quiet time helps me prepare my mind for whatever happens next.

After fixing my bed, I start doing my morning tasks. I wash my face, eat breakfast, and prepare myself for school/work. While doing these things, I often think about the goals I want to achieve for the day. Sometimes I feel tired or lazy, but I always remind myself that I need to keep going for my future and for the people I love.

During the day, I meet different people and face different situations. Some moments make me happy, like when I bond with my friends, share stories, or laugh over simple things. Other times, I face problems or stress, especially when tasks become difficult. But I have learned that every challenge is a chance to grow. Instead of giving up, I try to stay positive and learn from my experiences.

When the afternoon comes, I usually feel a little exhausted, but I continue working until I finish my responsibilities. It feels good when I accomplish something, even small achievements, because they make me feel proud of myself.

By evening, I go home, take a rest, and spend time with my family. This is my favorite part of the day. We talk about what happened, share food, and laugh together. Their presence gives me comfort and strength.

Before sleeping, I reflect on everything I did. I think about what went well and what I can improve the next day. This simple reflection helps me grow as a person.

In the end, my day may not be perfect, but it is filled with moments that shape who I am. Every experience—good or bad—teaches me lessons that help me become stronger, wiser, and more grateful for life.

My Journey as a Future Educator: Ladymae M. Segongan

Being an education student has never been just a course for me—it is a calling, a purpose, and a path that continues to shape who I am. As a 3rd-year BEED student, I have gone through challenges, victories, realizations, and moments of growth that helped me understand what it truly means to become a future educator. ---

🌱 Where My Journey Began

Ever since I was young, I have always admired teachers—their patience, their strength, and the way they transform a simple classroom into a place of hope. As I grew older, I realized that I also wanted to make a difference in the lives of children. That dream brought me to the field of education. Choosing BEED was not an accident. It was the first step toward the future I want to build. ---

📚 My Experiences as a BEED Student

My journey has not been perfect, but every step has taught me something new:

• Balancing expectations and responsibilities College life is full of requirements—lesson plans, reports, activity making, quizzes, and deadlines. There were days when I felt overwhelmed, but I learned to manage my time, stay focused, and continue moving forward.

• Learning inside and outside the classroom Education is not only about memorizing theories; it is about understanding real-life situations. Through field observations, group activities, demo teachings, and practical exposure, I learned how to handle students, communicate effectively, and adjust to different learning needs.

• Growing in character I gained confidence, patience, humility, and the ability to work with different kinds of people. Every challenge became an opportunity to strengthen my heart and mindset as a future teacher. ---

💛 What Keeps Me Going

There are days when the journey feels heavy—but my purpose reminds me to stand strong. I believe that every child deserves a teacher who will inspire them, believe in them, and guide them toward their dreams. That is what keeps me motivated. ---

🎯 My Goals as a Future Educator

As I continue this path, I carry with me big dreams for myself and my future students. 1. To become a passionate and committed teacher I want to teach not only lessons from a textbook, but lessons that help children grow with confidence, kindness, and courage. 2. To create a safe and meaningful classroom A space where every learner feels valued, respected, and encouraged to express themselves without fear. 3. To inspire young minds I want my students to believe that they can dream big—and that their dreams matter. 4. To continue learning and improving Education is a lifelong journey. I want to keep improving my skills, strategies, and knowledge so I can give the best to my students. ---

🌟 Looking Forward

As a 3rd-year BEED student, I am still learning, still growing, and still discovering who I am as a future educator. But one thing is clear: I am here because I want to make a difference. I am here because teaching is my passion. And I am here because I believe that education is the key to a brighter future. My journey continues—and I am excited for what lies ahead.
